Had a small crisis where I thought I'd run out of the lighter purple miracle bead even though I thought I'd got enough... I was actually sitting on it =P

Velociraptor Claw Pendant



Replica Velociraptor claw handwrapped in silver plated copper wire, with added rocaille beads and labradorite chips. I tried to angle the camera so it picked up the beautiful colour play of the gem chips, not sure how well that worked though...

Velociraptor was a small dinosaur made famous in Jurassic Park. They were about 6 feet long and 4 - 5 feet tall. It used these large slashing claws on the 2nd toe of its hind feet to disembowel and kill its prey. This life-size replica is from a specimen found in China and is from the Cretaceous Age of about 75 million years ago.
This was my entry for the http://artisancraft.deviantart.com/ dinosaur contest! I didnt win,  but I still enjoyed making it and its definitely one of my best pieces yet.

Blue flower earcuff

This was my first attempt at an earcuff! It took a lot of time and effort but I am really really proud of it! I get so many comments while wearing this piece, it really does stand out :) I hope some day soon to open commissions.

Goldstone and sodalite bracelet

Goldstone is a synthetic gemstone made from glass infused with flecks of copper. I added spacers made from sodalite chips and gun metal coloured beads.

First piece made for my college shop :) I hope it goes to a good home!

Pearl 'tree of life' pendant

Decided to have a go at a tree of life.

The wire loop was originally intended for some other, currently unfinished, earrings, but the shapes didn't match (it's important to get earrings symmetrical). So I found some lovely pearly beads and had a go at something different!

I then added a jump ring to make it into a pendant, but it was really too small for that, so I made another.

Twisting all that wire KILLED my hands... It sounds strange, but there is a way that the wires WANT to twist together, and there's a way they don't. Its a lot easier to go with their way. Trust me!

Howlite hollow square pendant

Howlite hollow square, hand wrapped in silver plated wire with added beads.

I love the purple beads, my camera hasnt managed to capture their beautiful blue/purple colour very well, but expect to see them in more jewellery in the future!

Chocolate drizzle pendant

Lovely unique stone with a pattern on it which reminded me of drizzled chocolate, hence the name. I tried to bring that out with hematite beads and a more advanced top wrap to in the past.

I am very proud of this pendant, currently for sale in a local shop :)

Rainbow bracelet

Bracelet made to try out a new technique, using miracle beads and silver plated wire. I love miracle beads, they have a wonderful effect under light which you can just about see on the photo - they glow :) I use miracle beads a lot in my jewellery.

Bracelets

I've recently begun to make wire wrapped bracelets.

The first one I made was a Christmas present for my Mum.

The beads are some kind of jasper, I think, and were used with silver plated copper wire and silver plated jump rings to make the bracelet. The handy thing about this design is that I can easily add or take away links if it doesnt fit.

Here are a few of my most recent pendants:

The stone is a pink/black worry stone, which I wrapped in silver plated copper wire and added several rocaille beads. This was the first pendant I sold!

One of my favourite pendants, this is a piece of orangey yellow calcite. I got a bit attached to this, so its not for sale.
